Great service, from fast check-in to delivering an excellent room-service dinner in minutes. Clean & comfortable room with all the amenities you'd expect of a good hotel, with controllable air-conditioning and a comfortable bed. All at a very good price and only a couple of minutes walk from Central Station. Will definitely stay here again when I need to stay in Sydney.

Excellent location a 5 minute walk from centra station, high quality hotel featuring well appointed comfortable rooms. The friendliest staff in a long time, and dining in was great with a good menu both in food and drinks.

There was amble space in the room. The bathroom could benefit from a separate shower instead of the in bath shower. Pool amenities could use some renovations but still ok. Customer service from staff was welcoming, much appreciated. Buffet breakfast was great. Location is close to all transport and 10 minutes away from Darling Harbour. I would return again.

Such a convenient location! The beds super comfy. Great buffet breakfast. But most of all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Dennis on the front desk that was able to move my room to make it more convenient for my stay & surprising my mum with a birthday card and cake! And to Simon at the kitchen, who also surprised my mum with a special breakfast surprise and blessed us with his joy. Both of these men did this without me asking. We will 100% will stay here again.

My daughters and I had a fantastic stay here!! The staff were super friendly and helpful and made our stay so much better. The rooms are spacious, beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and my girls loved the pool. The location is also awesome! So close to Central and Darling Harbour. For the price, you can't beat it and I will definitely be back!! Thanks for a great stay team!

We came up for the Easter long weekend from Tassie to attend the Easter show. We squeezed 2 adults and 2 kids into a twin room which was 2 queen beds. Mira and Bishal were great at reception, fantastic customer service and looked after us! Keep notes for anyone looking to book: beds are super soft, we loved that as we live a soft bed. The pillows are extremely chunky, we bought our own along from home thankfully. The rooms are quiet, we couldn't hear anything from the outside street. Pool is outdoor and heated. They make a great oat milk hot chocolate at 1am via room service. Close to everything, market city shopping centre is a 2 min walk, metro woolies is on the next block, central station is round the corner and everything else is on George Street about a 5-10min walk. The hot water is fantastic! Overall the only thing is the decor is a bit outdated in the room, but didn't bother us as it is just cosmetic

We recently stayed at Sydney Central Hotel with our children for a week while my wife was receiving medical care at a local hospital, and I can’t speak highly enough of our experience. Check-in was seamless, with a welcoming and professional reception team that immediately put us at ease. The hotel restaurant offered plenty of options, which made it easy to stay onsite for several meals during our stay. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, especially for a longer stay. It had all the usual favourites, but with thoughtful twists to keep things interesting. On different mornings there was masala chai, frittatas, ham on the bone, fried rice, roast vegetables, and even samosas one morning. The $3 coffee before 9am was the perfect start to the day - hard to beat! We also made good use of the $15 lunch deal and returned for it a few times, and the dinner menu was consistently delicious on the nights we chose to dine in. The pool and gym were both clean and well maintained, providing a much-needed outlet and a chance to take our minds off more pressing matters. Overall, it was a genuinely comfortable stay with a warm, hospitable team who made a difficult period much easier for our family. We will definitely be back.

Stayed for one night in a family room with breakfast included for four adults. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our stay. The hotel’s location in Haymarket was excellent, with Central Station just a short walk away, making it very convenient for getting around Sydney. Breakfast had a good selection and was a great start to the day. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay that I’d recommend to families and travellers visiting Sydney :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. One of the first things we noticed was how quiet the location is. The hotel is situated on a no-exit street, so there's very little traffic, making it a peaceful place to stay while still being close to everything. The foyer is modern and very welcoming, and the receptionist who checked us in was friendly, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. As we were celebrating my partner's birthday, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an Executive Floor room, which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. When we arrived in our room, we found a slice of cake along with a handwritten welcome message. It's these thoughtful little touches that really make a stay memorable. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping staff were cheerful, friendly, and always willing to help. Even the staff we encountered in the lifts greeted us with a smile. Overall, every staff member we met was excellent, with the exception of one receptionist when we requested an umbrella, who seemed a little grumpy. However, that was only a minor issue and certainly didn't detract from our overall experience. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It's just a short walk to George Street, where you can catch the tram all the way to Circular Quay. It's an inexpensive and convenient option if you don't feel like walking, with a fare around AUD $1. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with outstanding customer service, thoughtful attention to detail, and a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again.
